Janeé Hanzlick

County Commissioner, District 4

As the former CEO of Safehome, Janeé cared for victims of domestic violence and provided life-saving resources on a non-profit budget. As our Commissioner, she makes sure that the county budget supports the quality services we need and expect, while being responsible with our tax dollars.

 

To keep Johnson County a great place where our children can live, we need a Commissioner who cares about people. Janeé is that Commissioner. She will continue to work hard for affordable housing options, fair property taxes, and quality amenities like parks, libraries and mental health services.

  • Janeé meeting with Grandparents for Gun Safety at the Overland Park Police Department’s annual “National Night Out” at Sapling Grove Park.

  • Attending the Johnson County Developmental Supports graduation ceremony for Project SEARCH members.

  • Recognizing winners of the annual bookmark contest as a member of the Johnson County Library Board.

  • Working with other Meals on Wheels volunteers to deliver food for Johnson County seniors.

  • Joining the Korean War Veterans, Kansas Chapter 181, to honor the fallen men and women in our armed services on Memorial Day.

  • Meeting with other Kansas City Area Transportation Authority board members to unveil the region’s first two all-electric buses.
